Wine is a classic holiday gift and this is a pretty easy way to class it up with a hand made touch! The beauty of working with leather is it doesn't require many tools to get started and if you can follow lines and handle a needle, that's about all the skill needed to get started!

New skill! I needed to make a replacement cabinet door and thought it'd be super straight forward with the right tools.. but there were a few hiccoughs. I learned that making a frame and panel door is pretty simple.. IF you get all the sequencing correct!
A brisket board is a large (think Texas big.. where they love brisket) cutting with a juice groove AND little reservoir cup in the juice groove to catch all those delicious drippings for whatever tasty idea you have for them. In this video I make them two ways. One with a more typical shop approach that fits most power tools or wood working machines, then another using a Shaper Origin.. which is a pretty addictive little gizmo I gotta say.

Here's how I made 100 beer flight boxes for Cartridge Brewing! These are solid walnut and feature rabbet joinery reinforced with once fired 9mm casings, branded leather badges that are brass tacked on, and a chalkboard to label the libations that Catridge Brewing will serve in the boxes! I mean, how could I make beer flight boxes for a brew pub called Catridge Brewing that's going in an old ammunition factory and NOT use brass casings in it somewhere? Wooden spoons are a quick and great gift to make and give! I mean, who doesn't use wooden spoons? Only people who don't have them, so a perfect gift for them would be to carve a spoon! If you have any tools, you can probably find a way to make a spoon. In this video I make a handful of spoons using a hodgepodge of tools, feel free to mix and match based on what you have to see what you can come up with!

I made a custom tap handle for a great friend. It started with some unique pieces of walnut that were cast into TotalBoat Thickset epoxy, v-carved his name into it with a small CNC, and finally enjoyed some tasty brews with it!
