I've been needing a much better solution for storing my hand tools and keeping them easily accessible near my bench, well now I have it! Besides being awesome on its own right, I also managed to turn this weekend project into a year long exercise of procrastination!

Installing a byrd shelix cutterhead in my vintage jointer was an upgraded I've been planning to do eventually. But after throwing a knife from the old clamshell, I decided it was a sooner rather than later kind of upgrade! Then I realized I'd also need to install a new motor, new mount.. this project kept growing. But man, does my jointer cut nice now!
How to sharpen a card scraper and even make one. Why make one when they’re so cheap? Well, sometimes you’ve got a piece that a typical card scraper just won’t get, or you have a batch project and a made to fit would really speed things up! In that case, making one is the way to go.

I made a planer cart that's also an air cleaner using an old blower and some filters! All it took was some scrap plywood. It's amazing how much cleaner the air is, and it's great to have a cart for the planer.
This is my take on a hand tool woodworking work bench for a hybrid woodworker in a garage shop! I sized it to not take up too much room, be easily movable, but be solid enough for any task I'd need from a workbench when woodworking with hand tools.
